Typepad domain mapping help

Through my experience helping many businesses with all aspects of their technology support, I have become somewhat of a DNS expert. I have been helping quite a few people over at the TypePad User Group with their domain mapping problems. In keeping with my goal to assist people in any way I can, I have decided to offer a flat-rate service to assist people with their TypePad sites and domain mapping.

For $25, payable through Paypal, I will configure both the Typepad site and either configure a hosting site for the appropriate DNS entries, or act on your behalf to work with your DNS host to have the appropriate entries added. I will monitor the process through completion and test it from multiple locations to ensure that name resolution works. I guarantee that no change I make will affect the flow of email or the ability to reach any site other than www.yourdomain.com.

I can also assist with registering a domain name for those who are interested. I use DomainDirect, a division of Tucows, for my own domain and recommend them highly. If you need just a domain registered or registration and email, I will assist with setting both these up for you for a fee of $50 plus the cost of the domain registration plan you choose.

If you would like to use my service for your Typepad domain mapping, please send me an email using the email me link on this page.

You can purchase the domain mapping by clicking the following button:

I was having trouble mapping my TypePad blog to my new URL (http://www.arenaofideas.com). I’m pretty web and computer savvyand I’ve set up plenty of domains, but this drove me nuts for 4 days. I contacted Jamie via Yahoo IM and he had it worked out in a couple of hours. Well worth the 25 bucks and he was helpful and polite while keeping me updated on the status. Highly recommended!
    Thanks!

    Thanks, Jamie!
I was trying to set up the domain mapping for my domain (www.paulinians.net) for about a week to no avail. I followed the instructions posted at the typepad website and opened a couple of support tickets as well. I came across Jamie’s offer (thru his blog) to map the domain for $25 and I gladly took him up on the offer. He resolved the issue in an expedient and professional manner. My only regret is that I should have done it sooner and saved me the headache.
I highly recommend this guy. Thanks, again!

Jamie helped me do this. What am I saying? He did it for me. It was well worth the money to have him take this headache off my hands. I highly recommend using him if you are having issues with domain mapping.

Very professional, very friendly. Well worth the money – no I am not leaving an ebay feedback here : )
But my website is one of these .co.uk ones and Jamie sorted out everything. Highly recommended for everybody who thinks a DNS entry is probably part of the human DNA – like me.

    Jamie
Can’t thank you enough for helping me through this…mine wasn’t a standard case (my registrar wouldn’t let me make CName changes…which is how I got into trouble in the first case), but Jamie talked me through it over AIM..and all worked wonderfully.
Would recommend to anyone who needs a bit of help with domain mapping. Well worth $25 for the grief it saved me.

Well worth the $25 to have Jamie handle the domain mapping. I probably could have stumbled through the process myself, but after reading some of the above favorable comments, I decided to spend the money.
And, it was a good decision. Jamie is thoroughly professional, and also quite friendly.
At no extra charge, he gave me several suggestions on how to organize my various domains and blogs that will save me far more than his $25 fee.
So, if you are like me and wondering whether or not you would have any difficulty in mapping a domain, just spend the money. The job will be done quickly and correctly.

Jamie took care of my domain mapping the same day I asked. Everything works great now. Thank you!

Thank you very much! I would recommend the service to anyone who is having issues following the directions provided. I was very close to having a separate domain mapped, but after seeing one done correctly, I was able to undo my own amateur mistake.
Well worth the $25, and if I’d done it a week and a half earlier, I would have had many fewer headaches!
